Bathtime is Funtime

New video: Erin taking bath - just a few moments ago...

As we add additional food to her menu and Erin strives to keep it in her mouth (see "peas" below...), the baths are becoming more frequent. So, too, are the loads of laundry, full of bibs... and shirts...

Even still, we wouldn't trade it for anything!

She is really starting to enjoy her bathtime. And getting the little foam thing to sit in the sink (to hold her still) has made the whole process a lot easier.

Enjoy!

A monumental occasion...

Today was a big day in the life of Mr. Suburb, Sean Stickel. Today, Sean took his new yard tractor out for its inaugural ride.

With a thumbs up, Sean began the journey around the vast landscape of 110 North Concord Avenue.

All accounts were that the mower did a great job. May the two enjoy years of happiness together.

Erin's Six-Month Checkup

Yesterday was Erin's six-month check-up. She weighed in at 17 lbs 1 oz (75th percentile) and 27 1/4 inches in length (90th percentile). She is a BIG baby (hasn't missed a meal yet) and she is doing great and developing very well--she is perfect!!

We think she is destined to be a supermodel, volleyball player or basketball player since she is so tall for her age. What we know for sure: she did not get her height gene from her mom or dad--must of been from her grandpa Stickel.

So they got us again... the Stickels made another trip to see Kate's nemesis - the PicturePeople - on Sunday. The pictures we got back are really cute. Tiny versions appear below. If you want to see the real things, let us know.

Did we move?

I'm realizing now that we haven't told a lot of people that we moved. No, that wasn't some effort to avoid everyone - we'd have to move further away to get rid of you people.

So to let everyone know - yes... we moved. Our new place is about 1.1 miles from the old one... a single-family colonial - very much like all the others in Havertown. This place has a lot more room - overall, closet space - than Waverly - and a huge yard.

It happened fast - we saw this place and settled rather quickly (the former owners had already moved.) It hadn't been in our searches until they dropped the price - and then one day, there it was.

So we listed 53 Waverly with my Aunt Renee - it sold that first day. She is the best agent ever. And it settled in less than a month, too - so everything has been a real whirlwind - trying to keep up with it all - while working, travelling, and playing with Erin!

We're still very much moving in - boxes everywhere - but when we get settled we will certainly be having a party.

And we have a lot mroe space for overnight guests, so pack your bags and plan a visit.

Did I mention the best part? 2 full bathrooms, 2 half bathrooms. So excited.

Scroll down for pictures.

Help!!!

My wife apparently has too much time on her hands, because she has created this blog to torment me.
